Bonja is the first International school in Santa Catarina authorized by the State Council of Education (Conselho Estadual de Educação). Our students experience a language, not just learn it. Bonja International offers programmes focused on learning regular curriculum content in German and English and authentic language experiences. Our students learn by a multidisciplinary approach, mathematical, scientific and social studies concepts and they develop a series of activities that broaden their critical thinking. Each person is a world and our objective is to launch worlds into the world.

Inspiring teachers in all languages. Bonja International’s team has teachers who were born in a country of origin of the language and specialists in language teaching for the age group of each student. They are experienced teachers who take part in national and international events in Bilingual and International education, so they are always up to par with the most recent teaching trends and methodologies in this area.

Certification and exchange programmes for the world. From the 4th grade of elementary school, students can do the proficiency exam at Bonja. Our institution also hosts exchange programmes through partnerships with other institutions in Germany, Australia, Canada, Spain and Colombia.

Primary Programme

3 to 5 years

Growing for the world, living and learning in new languages. Proposal in full-time mode, immersion for international early years education, integrated and trilingual curriculum.

Bilingual Programme

4 to 14 years

Live and learn another language for the world and forever. Trilingual proposal for early childhood education and elementary school, in the extended hours model with language immersion, using English or German methodology.

IB Diploma Programme

High School

Preparation for the world and forever. The International Baccalaureate prepares the student for the world through experiences and immersions in Portuguese, English and German or Spanish. This is pluricultural training.
